Levi, Manager, Mill House Club Escrick – Mill House Club is incredibly proud of Levi, our new Manager at Escrick! (Started in February 2024), 2023 was a phenomenal year for her, winning Apprentice of the Year at the Selby District Business Awards and Club Worker of the Year in October. Her helpfulness and engaging approach with children are truly valued. Since joining in October 2022, Levi has tackled challenges head-on and built strong connections with the children. Her dedication is further shown by achieving her Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (Dec 2023), along with certifications in Paediatric First Aid, Food Safety, and Advanced Safeguarding Lead training.
Lauren, Manager, Mill House Club Riccall – We’re delighted to announce Lauren as the Manager of Mill House Club Riccall (Started in January 2024). Since joining us in 2017 as a Playworker, Lauren has consistently grown and developed her skills. She earned her Level 3 Childcare Diploma and gained valuable experience as a full-time practitioner, a nanny, and notably as a Manager who successfully supported a setting to achieve a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating. Returning as Deputy Manager in 2021, her leadership qualities were evident, and she now brings her Level 3 Diploma and comprehensive certifications in Food Safety, Advanced Safeguarding, Early Years SENCO, and Paediatric First Aid to her role as Manager.
India – Deputy Manager – Mill house Club Riccall, Starting as a Play Worker in August 2023, her passion and skills have shone through. With her Level 3 Childcare qualification, Teacher’s Assistant experience, and Paediatric First Aid & SENCO certifications, she has been excellent with the children and getting involved in a range of activities and is a real asset to our team and the children we care for.
Abbie – She embarked on her learning journey with us on March 1st 2024, Throughout her studies so far, she has been a great role model in both our settings. Her experience also extends to a nursery environment, providing a fantastic foundation in early years development. We’re incredibly excited to see her grow and see the fresh perspectives and energy she will bring to our team and the wonderful children we care for.
Melissa, Continues her studies with us towards her Level 3 Childcare qualification with us, she remains a valued member of the team. She particularly enjoys engaging the children in creative crafting activities and will continue to work in both settings.
Sophie, Our newest team member! Sophie is pursuing her Level 3 Childcare qualification with us and can’t wait to get to know and have fun with all the amazing children at both of our settings. Her eagerness to learn and engage makes her a fantastic addition to our Mill House Club family.
Vicky, We’re thrilled to welcome Vicky, our new member to our dedicated Mill House Club team! You’ll be seeing her friendly face across both of our settings as she gets to know our wonderful children and staff. We’re so excited to have her join us and contribute her skills and enthusiasm to both locations.
Grace, We’re delighted to welcome Grace, our newest addition to the Mill House Club team! You’ll see Grace working across both of our settings. Additionally, you may also recognize Grace as she is also a valued practitioner at Mill House Nursery Escrick.
Catherine, She is studying Film at the University of York and is a fantastic part of our team, working mainly during term time with occasional holiday club appearances.
Hazel is studying English at the university of Lincoln . She also has previously worked for Mill house club before so its lovely to welcome her back. She is also a qualified life guard and works at a local swimming pool and joined the team in June 2023.
